Mirella Maria

Mirella Maria is a visual artist, researcher, and teacher. She has a degree in Visual Arts and a master's degree in Art Education from São Paulo State University - UNESP. Mirella worked as an educator at the Afro Brasil Museum. Currently, she is a teacher of accessibility educational services at the Educational Public Sector of São Paulo - PMSP, educational consultant, cultural producer. She was a participating artist at the XII Mercosul Biennial in visual arts. Her research focuses on African arts, Afro-Brazilian art, human rights heritage, racial/gender issues, decoloniality.
