 Bernd Reiter is a political scientist, currently affiliated with the Department of Classical and Modern Languages and Literatures at Texas Tech. Before joining Texas Tech, he served as the director of the Institute for the Study of Latin America and the Caribbean at the University of South Florida. He is the author of Decolonizing the Social Sciences and Humanities (2022), editor of the Routledge Decolonizing the Classics Special Book Series, and co-editor, with Dr. John Anton Sanchez, of the Routledge Handbook of Afro Latin American Studies (forthcoming 2022), with 74 chapters and over 80 contributors.
